The Resistance // Out Now!

The wait is over, The Resistance is here! Out today in the UK and tomorrow in the US, here's what some of the critics had to say...

"Muse have made an album of genius, brilliance and beauty!" (The Sunday Times Culture)
"Too few bands have this level of ambition, this desire to explore new territory... life affirming" (Q Magazine 4*)
"Berlioz meets Bowie." (The Mirror 4*)
"...a streak of utter brilliance." (The Fly 5*)

Not to mention our very own muse.mu critics, who said...

"...it filled my head with wonderful ideas and made me change my perspective of music itself." Taylor Owen
"It’s a powerful album with a lot of movement." Natalie Sung
"These secret rebels have come out of hiding and delivered a true magnum opus; a deep, multi-faceted and eclectic two finger salute to musical monotony." Dan Fry
"Apocalyptic, operatic, haunting, and grandiloquent: The Muse juggernaut is well and truly in motion once again." Gavin Greene
"Muse have accomplished something quite astonishing and I mean that very sincerely and without Muse goggles on." James Murphy

  1. Report I didnt really like how Muse has changed their style of music from hard rock and prog to softer and less heavy. i want more songs like Fury and Map of the Problematique instead of Undisclosed Desires or Guiding Light... Still a big fan though!! tribefannumber1 822 days ago
  2. Report I am the biggest Muse fan in Akron Ohio but my opinions on The Resistence is that the songs on this album are no where near as good, or hardcore as all their others on their openimg albums. Even all of Muse's B-Sides are better than most of these tra tribefannumber1 822 days ago
