Oslo, Stockholm and Malmo Dates Cancelled

  29 November 2012

We're very sorry to have to announce that Muse's forthcoming shows in Oslo, Stockholm and Malmo have been cancelled as Matt has broken two bones in his foot. The band have therefore made the difficult decision to cancel these gigs as they feel that they will not be able to do justice to their live show and the fans who have bought tickets with Matt performing on crutches. Muse would like to apologise to all their fans who have tickets to these shows. Refunds will be available from the point of purchase.

Matt's progress will be monitored over the next few days, but the remaining dates on the tour are still scheduled to go ahead as planned. As soon as we have any news it will be posted on the Muse website, Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Snap - spent hours in Dublin Airport today to find out flights cancelled ;-). Ironically, had the concert gone ahead I woulda missed it anyways.

Sigh...so disappointed, due to arrive into Stockholm today - flights delayed due to snow, and then to make matter worse, have only now have found out about this cancellation...so just felt like having a cry. Travelled from Australia to see this show - no bull. I have been hammering the 2nd Law and loving it. At best, Muse might come to Australia, might, in late 2013...if they haven't had a blowout through their rigorous touring schedule. Hope you all get to see them sooner than I do...

What a pity! We were coming to show from the sold out Finland and had already booked the flights and the hotel. Guess we have to just walk around Stockholm now. Get well, Matt!

To all the people who are flippin shit about their tour dates being canceled. Yeah, it sucks, but it's not like Matthew purposly wanted to break his foot (At least I hope not). He did what he had to do. If you had a broken foot would you really want to preform on stage? Put yourself in his shoes. I understand, if my tour was canceled, I would be furious, but it's for a reason. I wouldn't commit suicide like idiotic tweeters or stop liking them. As for the money issues, you get refunds and you now know for future references to have flight insurance. I hope Matt feels better :) And I hope they do let us know how he feels in the next few days. Keep us updated!
GOING TO SEE THEM IN CLEVLAND! :D
Oh, and if Dominic had anything to do with this, I'm going after him >:C
