  1. Report The grand finale of Roskilde in my case... As far as I know theyve been announced the best live act in the UK two years in a row, and by recently throwing two gigantic concerts at the Wembley stadium, my expectations couldnt have been higher.. This was bound to be the highlight of my festival! So, I actually managed to get up front, pretty much. And by starting the concert with a truly amazing show in Knights of Cydonia, the mood was set. When sitting by the piano and playing a must excellent version of the bands cover of the old Nina Simone-track Feeling Good, Matthew Bellamy showed that not only is he able to do a fantastic job on the approximately 5 different guitars hes just as amazing on the piano. After the piano-session, the band finally played Starlight, and no one could stand still, following with, among others, New Born and Plug In Baby. When stopping after an hour and 15 minutes, they were craved back for encores, and the hunger among the audience was quickly settled with the quiet Unintended, which could make the vast majority of the audiences eyes get slightly wet. Especially Matthew Bellamys stage act and sense of catching people, together with throwing gigantic balloons filled with confetti over the audience, and finally finishing the concert with a blast, made the message clear; Muse was the absolute highlight of the festival, even with me having them as a clear #1 in my charts, and leaving me among several others in total ecstasy for several hours. 6/6 (10/6, if I could) (the rest of my Roskilde-review can be found on http://www.last.fm/user/Hvaffornoget/journal/2007/07/10/471719/) Hvaffornoget 1778 days ago
