  2. Report It was a perfect day. First I saw billy talent, then Zornik,a local belgian group, followed by my chemical romance. Then there was bjork. Didn't like her very much. But then, at 0.30 am, muse started! Their first song was knights of cydonia and immediatly, the whole crowed went nuts. 10.000 people, screaming their lungs out. Everybody knew every song. And matthew, dom and chris were playing awesome. There was only one problem: matt talked a little too fast too understand him.But no problem. Everybody went home happy jan_t 1784 days ago

  4. Report Ok, sorry for my far from excellent english, i'm belgian, it's not my maternal language. Thursdaynight, 28th of june 2007. Werchter festival kicked off just a few hours ago, and the climax of the day is near. It started of quite badly at 5 pm with Billy Talent, Zornik was nice, Marilyn Manson provided the laugh of the day, until Bjrk took us away in her magical spaceship. To end up on the wonderful Planet Muse, finally, and it was even better than listening to your fighting neighbours with a glass against the common wall.;). The landing was nice and rough with "Knights of Cydonia", and the sightseeing tour on Planet Muse only got better. The lightshow is amazing, but is nearly a detail compared to that larger-than-life music, which made the crowd go absolutely wild. Picking a hightlight of the show is hard, because the hole gig was a highlight. But here they come: "Kights of Cydonia", "Time is running out", the wonderful piano play by Matt Bellamy in the middle of "Butterflies and Hurricanes" (the first goosebumps of the festival), "Sunburn" and Matt Bellamy's fabulous red suit ;) (It fit him amazing, I rarely enjoyed an outfit so much ;)) One negative thing: Muse ruined the rest of Rock Werchter. They played so well that the gigs of other bands, no matter how good (check out Incubus, The Chemical brothers and Arno), sounded dim. Only Admiral Freebee escaped "the curse" by a more than excellent gig. Another negative thing: it ended! If I was in charge, I, together with the rest of the crowd, would have stayed on the glorious Planet Muse forever, but it didn't happen. All together: I've never seen anything like it, ( apart from the Muse concert @Sportpaleis Antwerp, it was even better), and every muse gig makes me an even bigger muse fan. Keep up the good work, guys! Keep having loads of fun on stage! And to Matt Bellamy: keep the stylist! leah 1786 days ago
