  1. Report The Point in Dublin is not known for its sound or location - however, that didn't stop Muse from putting on one of the best shows I've ever seen. From start to finish, the show was amazing and while the crowd got out of hand at some parts, the band played a stellar set. Highlights included Assassin (extended), which featured an intriguing backdrop video as well as the 'Debase' riff at the end of the song. Citizen Erased was also one of the best songs played (as always). Teamy 1995 days ago
  2. Report I have been to many gigs in my time ranging from Madonna to the Prodigy, The Music and the Stones and I always swore the Prod were the best but they have just been well and truly surpassed and it will be a very long time before I see or hear anything quite so moving - it was one long goose bump moment!!!!!!! Only downside was trying to air drum and headbang whilst sitting down (a rule in Dublin apparently) - wish I'd know and I'd have booked standing! Still had the best view ever though. Thanks guys - and please, please dont get too commercial and start to only play big venues - keep it small and real! loopyloo69 2021 days ago
  3. Report A four hour bus ride to Dublin and three hours outside the Point and hell YES it was worth it!!! The intro on Take a Bow was fantastic and was followed by Hysteria which really got the crowd going!!!!!! icyitscold 2025 days ago
  4. Report MUSE in the point was the best gig ever, from just the word go, i qued at f**king six in the morning after only getting an hour sleep the night before. At aout half two or one (i dnt no for sure), i was dilussional or however ya spell it, ha! i seen Tom Kirk coming from a taxi and with my blue hair at the front of the que started the chanting and cheering fro him!!! that guy is god, hes done so much for muse! so i thank him personally but anyway i made dom laugh a few times aswell. I was well happy with that, if he cant memeber, i was the blue haired guy at the front going mad!!! as you do at a muse gig! I waz kinda pissed off to coz i qued since f**king six and some people who arrived at bout one or two got to the front barrier with me! i wanted to just . . . .ahhh!!! but anyway i like matts new lyrics for starlight aswell, very funky and the whole stage setup-very trippee and groovy!!! aswel lon behalf of the point please do not be too pissed off that matts fan didn work near the end nor did two of the deadly gas shooter thingeez work lol!!! just dnt want yas refusing to come back. Giggage was still amazing and i look forward to seeing yous when you come back!! you have motivatated and influenced a 16 year old lad to make it to your stage one day, so i thank you so much for that and never stop being who you are!! rememeber thought is reality, physical is the fiction! love you guys thanks! . . . callum (the blue haired drummer from tallaght dublin) P.S. keep an eye out for a band called Nu-Born, we'll be supporting MUSE in bout 2 years! 5. Report Well I have been to many gigs at the wee old age of 17 but I have never been to a gig so... well amazing. They played every great song imaginable including the best of the new. The music, the atmosphere, matt bellamy, excellent. Thank you for a great night Muse, I'll be there at the next. Damn that all sounds corny but sure meh! paulak 2026 days ago
